Look REAL close folks. I swear it is at least missing the rear truck and I'm tempted to say it's just a shell. If I actually cared (I've seen high priced junk from several iterations of ebay sellers from Stockton CA containing "costa" in the name over the years) I'd email the seller and ask them to take it out of the box. And bonus points for blanking out the price tag. Wouldn't want a potential buyer knowing what these really cost. But I'm trying to limit drama in my life at this time. But honestly. New? Yeah right. It might have been new 20+ years ago. It's not new. It's not new old stock. It's old in a box that may or may have not been opened. And vintage only works with wine I'm sorry. What ebay REALLY needs it to give us smilies to click on so I can put about 10 LMAO smilies on that listing. That would be a great addition and hopefully help those folks not as knowledgeable of N scale to keep from getting scammed by these folks.

Besides being dated it probably goes back to the era of split gears and if not split yet soon will be and then the buyer will listen to the sound of a racing motor and no movement.

And here you can buy your very own DCC system that is almost 20 year old for the very low price of a modern duplex equipped set.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/124290220424

sigh... oh and that guy selling the throttles that are also ancient is still offering them for the very low price of $149 each.

lemme see. A bt2 buddy throttle that won’t work with my dcs210 for $149 or a ut4d duplex radio throttle that will work for $120...

You left out that he is also charging premium shipping prices as well. $34 to ship (in my case) from Washington to Calif.

WOW...not even a Kato/Atlas version at that. Regular Atlas Classic version which could be obtained for less than $40.
I guess sellers are sucker 'fishing' on eBay.

If one looks closely at the front pilot on this one you can clearly see that it is a ModelPower EMD F40PH.. not a KATO.

Bad description aside, I see some things here that I could actually use. But my modeling desk is backlogged at this time and I shouldn't start more projects.
