Really? It will probably come in real handy since the big thaw and the bottoms are dropping out of roads all over! I’m looking forward to it Vince! I assume there will be a bridge section with it. Thank you buddy, it will have a good home!

So, you are going to send the bridge at some point? I’m more than happy to work on it.

Yes dale giving you a bad time

Yes should be getting the bridges to you after the 3rd little unexpected fundage issue came up here

Sorry didn't get them out sooner

Really do appreciate the Catoosa lending a helping hand

Modern day, I’d say 2010 and beyond. Since most of my cars now sport reflective stripes, really more 2015 and up.

    Thanks!

I finely got to try out my new spray booth today. I have 12 of these I bought 30 years ago. The Roundhose version.
I was give some weathering formulas by my friend Sammy C. of The Santa Fe Hereford Subdivision layout. I used the brown and finished off with a misting of black. I will finish up with some lighter powders to highlight things, add some hot spots and rust the wheels. Finally the reflective striping. 2 are done, these are in process and 8 to go.

    Thanks for looking!

Looks good Dale. Which paint booth did you get? I used to have a fleet of those BN cars too. Traded them off years ago. Your cars look great. I have a bunch of FRA (ho scale) stripes here somewhere, and have glue and the actually reflect light, drawback is they are a bit thick.

    Hi Tom,

Thank you sir! I bought a cheap one off Amazon. It has a filter, fan and fold up sides. I believe I paid around 70 or 80 bucks for it. It did come with Tray so I can spin the cars around.

For the FRA stripes I use a pin striping tape I purchase at my local hobby shop. He caters to car kit builders mostly with very little train stuff. Here is a picture of what I use, it’s self adhesive so I cut it to length and stick it on. I have not had any trouble with it coming off. I add those last of all.
I run the tape out on a small mirror and measure strips in 36” for the end of the car and 18” for the intermediate strips.

    Thanks,
    Dale

I wonder how pricing might compare at the local auto parts store?
