    Pulls quite well, but slow speed control is not great and top speed like a Shinkansen.
    Yes, always do my own decals

    Yes, printed the decals with the on my laser printer using a Ghost-White toner cartridge.

    So for the chassis, I got one of the new ones with the can motor from Marklin set 81701. (The new photo grey 0-6-0 Marklin-88001 with the new valve gear has a horizontal can motor and won’t fit under the shell, but the trainset versions will) The new can motor versions are much quieter than the 5 pole open frame motor version. They also have a new capacitor. The new trainset version fits just fine under The Z Makers shell.

    So mine runs well and quiet.

    Thanks for sharing that! I am impressed. Seriously looks like marklin upped their game with that new motor. You can see the smoothness right off the bat.
