    Yeah, some day I want to model the old Denver & Rio Grande line between Durango and Silverton but with no real grades, just a lot of winding canyon and trees between the two towns. I guess I could slant all the trees to make it look like the train is going up hill or down. ;)

    That is actually a Z scale stock car. Both it and the Z scale tank car right behind it have their trucks and couplers replaced to be the same as the other Nn3 cars as well as having been repainted and decaled.

    Russ what points are you using there?
    Im thinking of investing into fast tracks but dont know if my eyes can handle it lol

    I just laid out a template on graph paper for PC board ties and rail placement. Filed the rails to make points and frogs and soldered everything together with a resistance soldering rig. A lot of fiddling and filing to get things right. On day I need to get back and actually build my Nn3 layout.
