No grade here just speed restriction for the drawbridge, this is CSX rail and NS has trackage rights from the town of Stevenson, AL to Wauhatchie, TN
Surprising thing about Rivers - they occupy the lowest terrain where ever they flow - to cross a river in most cases a line must descend the surrounding terrain to bridge level and the ascend up to the surrounding 'heights' on the other side of the bridge.

I am certain each videographer has their own methods. The easiest is to video a railroad whose rules require trains to call signals over the road radio channel. Most of the time trains announce there Train ID, Engine Number, Direction, Signal identity and Signal indication. Have a radio scanner to hear the transmission and you have all the information you need. With signals being spaced every 2 to 3 miles you will likely be able hear more than one signal being called.
