Picked up this BLI 2-8-2 Mikado today. Now to add some passenger cars with different railroad liveries and I will have a nice excursion type train.

Just got the three Atlas special run tankers, one Kung Fu Graffiti, and both Lousiana Hot Sauce cars. There was some drama involved. My dealer emailed apologizing for not getting their order from Atlas, and says lately, Atlas has been having some of those problems. I checked all the internet dealers, and only found them on Ebay, so I bought them there.

Before that, after reading on the forums about the shortage of Atlas C55 track (I do see a pattern here.....) I hoarded both flex track and turnouts for a layout expansion I have in mind, but which is probably at 50% of actually happening.

As per a few posts above, I really need nothing, but will pick up weathered and graffiti cars I like. Might get some rolling mud hen locos at some point, i.e., the Atlas HCLX Geeps, if I happen to find one at a good price, with sound.

Broadway Limited Imports (BLI) has been very active in N scale this past year. I have that same WP model... but have yet to run it. I recently acquired some of their new heavy and light Pacific models as well (still waiting for arrival).

Since I had no 'Hudson' class (4-6-4) steamers, I could not resist this model purchase either. My hope is that Bachmann will continue to make more versions of this model... perhaps a J3a Dreyfuss style with the Scullin Disk drivers for NYC. I have little interest in eastern US railroads but do like some of their steam era locomotives.
Hey Bachmann... how about doing a Milw Rd streamlined F7 Baltic class (4-6-4)? That would be really niiiiiccccceeee!!!

Trainworx is another really great model railroad manufacturer which has been putting out prototypical DRGW rolling stock. I have the earlier paint scheme sets depicting the early 1960's scheme... tempted to buy this version as well.

Are you referring to the quad hoppers? The latest release comes with a single lube plate (if that is the correct name) which, as I understand it, is a very early version of said plates. Maybe as early as 1971 by one info source I found. I will eventually re-decal these plates on mine with a later version. That said, I agree that these are fantastic cars!

I got a AnyCubic Proton Mono, with the washing and curing station too. My original order was supposed to come with Resin but they said they were out till next month... Grrr... After waiting a week or more, I ordered some on Amazon, and amazingly it showed up a day later. I printed a couple non railroad related items, like a little Grogu, and an Akira class starship (below). I also thought that I could do well with a PLA type printer so I also ordered a Creality Ender 3 V2. So right now I am printing a 40' container, working on getting the size right before I start mass printing them for my container terminal.

I am going to also print some "I" beams and other structural members to make my train station modules with as well.

So I got my first test print done with my container. It turned out good enough for the yard stacks. Strange though the printer didn’t print one side of the detail, but the detail was there in the files. Here is the pic, the white is the new, the red is a commercial model.

How do you like it so far? Is this from the AnyCube or Ender one? The containers?

The container is from the Ender 3, it’s a filament print and fairly easy and quick. The starship was from the AnyCubic, and while not as fast, and since it does require post processing, it has far better details. I’m not planning on using it for low detail jobs like containers or track side utilities. I like them both. They both require a different type of slicer to make them work. The Ender 3 is basically a CNC machine so the code is common gcode. The Anycubic is a bit different, it only moves on the Z axis, and prints it’s things by exposing a UV sensitive resin to UV light that is allowed to pass through a LCD screen and expose the resin.

Am I the only one who wants two of the Kung Fu cars, and then couple them together really hard, all while singing...."Everybody was Kung Fu fighting?"

If it has an N scale layout in it, then it's an N scale home!

Just got 6 of these today... then ordered the last 6 that Kato USA had in stock. Now I will have a full platform for my 20 Century Limited.
