This past Saturday was the inaugural Red River RPM Meet in Fort Worth, Texas. It was a fun time and a better turnout than we'd hoped for. I got to meet a lot of new friends and see some old friends as well. It's hard to pick some photos to share, so here's the link to the entire gallery:

Also, my phone doesn't do near as well as a camera so if you look around the usual spots (facebook, flikr, etc) I'm sure you can find far better photos of the event.

Here are some of my photos:

I left Saturday evening exhausted but on top of the world. Can't wait to do it again next year!

RPM meet photos are some of my favorite things. I’m not a member of any club myself, but I really admire the skills of these guys.

The E B-unit is interesting; I like the builds that include a photo to compare it to. It seems like there were a good variety of models on display, but the one I would like to have the most would be those cranes. They would make a pretty good flatcar load.

I think Jacob worked on that E7B for 8 or 9 years. It was cool to see it evolve over time.

Thomas' crane models look good in photos, but they are even better in person.

All are great. Thanks for sharing. The one I almost want is the steamer. Only as a wood burner in HO.
