I got side tracked building N scale modules but it has been productive. Four down three to go. Next I will start scratch building some HO cars.

Update time. Now that you am done with N scale modules for a while, I can get back to my HO layout. I am going to replace an industry. I am removing a coal fired power plant a d replacing it with a Pepsi bottling plant. This will open the area up and gives me better access to the area. Also the new structure is lighted and animated. I will need to repaint the area, add a couple of crossings, and parking lot.

Now what types of cars would a bottling plant receive?

Interesting question. I have never paid enough attention... I would believe box cars for bringing in packaging materials. Insulated box cars for product shipments out. Sodas often have citric acid, so tank cars for at least that commodity. Sugars or whatever makes up those artificial additives, in covered hoppers? And...?

Looking at some of the items needed. Corn syrup in tank cars, CO2 in tank cars, box cars of course, covered Hoppers with sugar in them. Yes I looked it up. GATX offers 3 and 4 bay covered Hoppers for sugar. From there not sure what else.

I think I just convinced my wife that I need the rolling thunder system from BLI. I showed her the you tube video from BLI using Bluetooth sent it through her stereo system. since she is deaf she was used to
Feeling the sounds of music. In this case she could feel the thunder of the locomotives. . I now own a 2-8-0 with the rolling thunder and have a 2-8-2 enroute and an F7 and F3 on preorder.
