Likewise, I bought one after seeing this video...

.... but haven't used it yet. I was impressed. I have two other ones but could see where this might be easier to use vs. connecting another on to my shop supply air and dragging an air hose around.

Thanks for the video. It looks to be something I want for the future. The compressor would be helpful. On the video he said he would show a link as to where to buy it. But, it didn't show it. So could you help?

Also, I've been researching why the battery in my Smart A Phone is dyeing. It's stated that the rechargeable should be only charged to 80% and discharged only to 20%. So getting one with only three of four bars is fully charged and you shouldn't go below one bar.
They also say that's what's causing E-cars to catch fire. Deleting and overcharging makes them break down.

I’m in the Army and stationed at Yokota air base, which is on the western edge of Tokyo prefecture. Getting out here pushed me over the edge to get back into trains and specifically into n scale. I picked this up on Amazon and will try and post something when I try it out. But I haven’t used an airbrush before so I won’t have any experience to compare it to.

I’d also like to know how these portable airbrush kits work. How much are the little tanks? Just curious more than anything.

What looks like a tank is actually a rechargeable battery and mini air compressor. It is all self-contained and you recharge it. Take a look at the video above and the results the guy got with one. Pretty impressive in my view but again I haven't tried mine out yet,

I'd be curious if it pulses at max pressure setting or around there. I've a larger badger compressor that does that when I shoot at it's max which is 14psi so I put it aside and now just use my shop compressor. If I could get a handheld that is good for 45 minutes ~15psi then that would be an excellent tool to have.

I bought some Noch N scale potted plants to spruce up my station. A little large for n scale - the gardener loves Miracle-Grow.

finally bought these two Tomytec N trams that I've wanted forever off Ebay, very excited. And, having said for years that Red Foreman is my spirit animal, when I came across this (even though it's technically not a Vista Cruiser ) it found a new home, too.

I have two of similar size but no grooves. So I went and bought the larger one and yes it's great. Now must go back for the smaller. (y) Just the price was a little steep. They want to sell me other stuff as well. o_O

I just stick a couple of those super magnets on my screwdriver. As long as your screws are steel, they will remain on the screwdriver.

Most all the screws i use these days are stainless steal . so far there the best , they never corrode never break and i always seem to loose one someplace in the darkness of the floor that a magnet can never retrieve.

New Gorilla glue to put together 3D printed items I received some time ago, and the Tamiya Thin glue will NOT work :) After watching some videos appears the Gel is thicker thus if working on say a vertical project it would be better then the Regular Gorilla glue. Anyone use both of these products before?

ive use the gorilla glue micro release before . its i was not impressed ( micro drops my petunias ) i just go down to the dollar store and buy the cheap stuff. its always worked great and i can get very small drops from them as well. i also use these lil things to place super glue exactly where i need it. a member shared this a while back , so i bought some. they do work very well.

I have those tips and a couple cheap x-acto type handles to hold them. Nice.

So… not a train weekend for me, but if all goes well it will mean future money for more trains. My brother ended up being a smart woo woo woo to a lady at his lawyers office when she mentioned looking for a charity/company that would remove some old cars from her property. Well he said how about the Dan & Mike charity. He told her that we liked fixing up old cars and selling them, splitting the cash between us. She said that sounded like a much better solution. She liked the idea of us little guys getting a few pennies in our pockets instead of some corporate entity. So that being said, we ended up with a 1975 Mercedes 450SL, a 2012 Smart Fortwo, a 2009 Snap-on mini chopper and I paid $400 for a Suzuki Bergman Executive 650… plus a few tools that we can use for working on these cars and future cars.

    The Mercedes

The Chopper (stock photo but same basic bike)

And the Bergman (stock photo again)

And you all know what an egg with wheels looks like so no Smart car pic.
