Well, I've been working in the corner under the layout sorting out wires. This one goes here, this one goes there, and where the hell does this one go? I'm doing my in the corner banishment.

Where's my notes on all of this?

    LOL Good one Deacon,

    And there it was.

Pardon me while i take a needed break from my time-out. Oct. 19, is my anniversary date for being in Idaho, for the last five years. Going to indulge in a Taco Time, Taco Burger.

    Later!

OK, you may enjoy a taco. Hopefully it will prevent you from suffering Post Traumatic 'Standing nose to the corner' Disorder!!

I just can't win. First storm of the year and the wind...well...blows it away. Almost !!

You might remember this picture of my pop-ups. My outdoor work area. Easy to put up and take down.

    Now this!

Apparently to easy. You know to take down.

The one next to the sliding glass door is ruined. I should be able to take the canopy off of it and put it on the second one. Not a total loss.

I should be able to take the damaged canopy and use it as a cover for the table saw.

So much for working on the layout today.

If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

Later all. Got work to do.

No need to click "Like". I'll understand that.

Pardon me while I Harrumph around and pout a little.

I did go out and knock down the busted up one. I will be able to save the canvas top and use the other to cover the work bench. Okay for now.

    That was a sneaky storm.

Look at the bright side. After the wind...you didn't have to go look for those things a few blocks over...JS

    There's a bright side?

I got the one that is trashed, taken down and out to where it belongs. In the trash!! The good one is down and will end up in storage later today.

Now I need to rearrange everything out there. My wood pile needs to go into the shed.

I may get rid of the barbecue. I haven't used it and the two times my neighbors did... it was a and still is a mess.

My table saw will also go in the shed.

This winter I will continue the wiring project and start replacing track.

Nope, i don't see a bright side right about now. I miss the metal awning i had in Big Bear and the Train Shed.

What I don't miss is how expensive it is to live in Big Bear Country. Utilities are out of site as is the price of gas. it was never cheap to live in Big Bear and it isn't cheap to live here. in Nampa.

I've got the trash to get out.

    That's it from me.

    Later!

My cure for most frustration's is a few fingers of a very good Bourbon, may I recommend Jefferson Ocean? Add a little ice to open up the flavor.

    Jack & Coke or Beam & 7
    Both acceptable in my house.

Beam & 7 was my parents' favorite. Jack and Coke is mine. I won't turn down either one.

Or an occasional two fingers of a good single malt scotch (Glenlivet for me). A dear old friend, since passed, introduced me to that pleasure.

As my dad used to joke: "Two fingers... in a washtub!"

I haven't had any alcohol in many years, because of my bipolar disorder medicine.

    Hmm... then why does
    Kiz fall down so often...?

Neither have I but for different reasons.

At the age of 14 I got pressed into helping out on the Ambulance. as an attendent. One of my first runs was made to the scene where a drunk driver killed....Well...you don't need to hear the rest of the story. That convinced me. No drinking...period. And I've kept that vow.

I don't smoke, don't drink and don't have any fun. Something wrong with this picture.

Well, It's Wednesday . Just to catch you up. Monday a visit to the eye doctor ended up confirming what i feared. The membrane behind the replacement lens is once again doing what the body only knows how to do. It is scarring over. Creating a fog like image to these eyes. So, we are off to the races again. Back to a laser treatment that should clear it up once and for all. Once and for all, famous last words.

The patio has either been cleared of the stuff I don't want out in the weather or it's been covered up.

With the flip of the switch the cold air finally rushed in, with a bang it moved in and winter is on. No time for fall this year. Leaves are starting to fall but most tress still look green and are hanging onto the only thing that keeps them warm. Seriously?

The railroad is in better shape then when George and Jean visited. Hopefully, I will be able to get it up and running by next summer.

I could say Sorry this is taking so long. However, most of this isn't my fault. To many delays with health issues the train room needed a new floor, surgeries, and down time to harrumph a lot.
Two threats of a possible move...again! I'm not a quitter. I usually finish what I start. i don't see a prognosis of leaving this world anytime soon. SO!! It's time to get'er done.

Thanks to all of you for hanging in here, your communiques, likes and humor. Dig on the humor!
