I think there should be more of paths to it. Like the one coming down from the tracks above it. And maybe a bush infront of it for privacy. It does look great.
Yeah, the finishing details aren't done yet, and the path is a good idea. This is Muleyville, and Muleyville is a pretty run down place. The bush might not cross the Muley's minds!
I wonder why the outhouse is so far away from the shelter. I like to have a walk-around throttle available, too. My layout is just a 4' X 8' but I have two MRC Tech III 9500s for cabs (the built-in meters are great) and an MRC Control Master 20 for switch throwing and its walk-around. It's handy for being right at the locomotive/train if there is a local problem like a stubborn derailment issue. Also, for switching a location across the layout from the control panel. The walk-around is tethered but it's no problem on a 4' X 8'. Doug
Muleyville is just about complete. The somewhat rundown trailer is in place. It has patches on the roof; junk on the south end; a ladder leaned up against the north end to work on the leaky roof; an old dead car off to the north sitting in the pasture; etc. I may add a little double track and a dilapidated but usable vehicle on the south end.
