This video captures this year's halloween train on the 3 foot guage Huckleberry RR in Flint, MI. Ex-Alaska RR ten wheeler 152 is pulling a combination of vintage passenger cars restored in the railroad's shops as well as several shop built cars that started life as narrow guage gondolas. Note the combine just ahead of the caboose. It's a beautiful example of 1:1 scale scratchbuilding. The combine configuration was chosen as a way to accomodate handicapped folks Huckleberry Railroad Halloween Train 2023. - YouTube
Assuming you're working in HO standard guage, Bachmann does make similar carts, but they are pricey. It would be more cost effective to start with Bachman (or IHC if you can find any) old time gondolas and scratch or 3D print seats, steps and canopies
@RailMix Thanks! Yes, I will be doing these in HO standard. I have lined up a source for doing the 3D printed benches. I will probably buy used gondolas or maybe 'Accurail' gondola kits. I am open to any and all suggestions.
