From May 1989 at Montgomery, AL, former NYC GP-40 KYLE 3104. Kyle was named after founder Willis Kyle and operated in KS and CO. The line is owned by Genesee & Wyoming today.

The buffalo grass prairie is long gone from the Brazos Bottoms west of Hearne. However, the trains still roam there. This afternoon on my way to the Armadillo Ranch.
Yesterday, 12/08/23, brought some sun to what has been an unusually grey December here in eastern PA. NS 67E, crude empties returning to the BNSF, pulls West after holding for another westbound at Wyo JCT.
