Very cool.....I saved your earlier figures but have forgotten if any look like they have more 50's-late 60's attire? If so a link to those would also be nice. Sumner
Excellent! Are you designing your own people now from the ground up? If I remember (maybe incorrectly?) I thought you had done some remixing on your first batch of people. But with the variety you have going on I'm thinking you figured out how to design them? Really like the shop toolboxes and equipment, too! Cheers -Mike
Yes, mostly anyway. I figured out how to use MakeHuman, then that gets exported to Blender for posing, then that gets exported to MS 3D Builder for cleanup and additional details. Clothes are the only issue cannot really do more than the modern era with MakeHuman even with checking the community.
Thanks - was wondering if you might be using MakeHuman. I tried it a year or so ago but I think my 3D software wasn't up for the task at the time as it just slowed to a crawl and choked out eventually trying to pose them. It does take a learning curve, too. I've since upgraded to the most current version of my 3D software so maybe I'll give it another shot and see what happens. I want to make a sitting engineer and maybe a version waving for my loco shells, maybe a couple versions one with cap, one with no cap, etc. Cheers -Mike
I might be able to help with your engineers and was thinking about doing some myself for a few steam locos I own. PM me in private and let's discuss it if you are interested.
