Oooooooooo!!! So do I!!! I have collected enough to fill 27 carousels. Plus a few hundred more in small boxes. Just of Milw depots, freight houses, towers, etc. Boxcab E50
Worked on the depot a little tonight. So I placed it on some track to see what I had. take a look! Bad background image, but it was better than the white wall. Temp. roof on it in picture. more work to do though...
Do you have a floor plan for Boylston? Am curious as to how it was arranged. Such as for living quarters. And when indoor plumbing was added. Boxcab E50
DUUUUDEEEE!!!! That's shagadelic! The engine is too clean--otherwise it would be hard to tell apart fromt he real thing... Wow!
hemi, you know making things dirty has not been a priority yet. I plan to do so along with shorting fuel tanks and other engine details. but for the last few months I've been a building set of mind. but your right it needs to be done. haha!
Had some fun today with my new SD7's. Destination is Royal City, Milw 509 leading a small train of grain hoppers.
Hemi, I have seen a few photos that show a bunch of these yellow hoppers hooked together. However, I am not sure if these were the only cars on that particular train. I'd have to go dig out that photo to find out. who wants to see some more building photos of my columbia river bridge? I'm thinking about working on it this sunday.
I recall seeing some promo pictures when they first arrived. Solid trains. Thereafter, likely they became somewhat disbursed. Boxcab E50
Sounds good guys. here's a pic to hold you all off until I take some more of the bridge. Milw Train 200 eastbound towards Rye. Pictured are the Beverly Helper units 136 and 157.
Sweeeet!! Those powerlines in the background look like they go right over the tracks!! The only thing that would make this pic better? Boxcabs instead!! Keep up the awesome work!
Kurt you're right they do cross over the tracks. In the Rye area this happens a couple of times. This also happens in a few other places between Boylston and Cohasset.
Nope, another small section I built a little while ago. It is based on an area close to Rye. The backdrop photo was from a photo I took near Rye. In fact they both replicate the scene very well. This section will be added to a little later next year. I really am motivated now to get the bridge done. It is just a huge project and sometimes I feel I have to walk away from it for a little while and do something else. Thus this sections came about.
Hmmm. We can't have Greg burning out before the bridge is completed! mg: Maybe we can twist his arm, to start another project? Ha ha... How about Beverly itself, including the wye? Or Kittitas and it's yard........ Boxcab E50
