As usual, it has been awhile since I have had time to get a class in. With my recent services in Georgia and the increase in shortline purchases of the SW1500, and the fact that I have been operating ex-CP SW1500's the next class was an easy one to come up with. So here is the teaser shot, and when I get back home next week and settled in, we'll get the class started. Happy Railroading! Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
Is that a new type of derail in front of that loco or did someone just get though t.p.ing the loco that's out of the picture....:embarassed: :zip: ...slings off into night.. Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
Hey, NJT has only 1 left. They were fun to play with. They sent 2 GP-40-FH's(garbage rebuilds from M-K)& 2 SW-1500's out to some remanufacture.Originally, they were getting those Green Goats. They really didn't fit into operational needs.I can't wait to see what appears on the property. Speaking of which, allow me to toss in some other SW1500 pics. Below is what is found on the Sandersville (The KAOLIN Line) at (where else) Sanderville, GA: And what is used in Brosnan Yard: Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
Got some internet time. Bob, I am at the Fulton County Railway, near Atlanta Georgia. Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
good to hear you are doing another class. They are a lot of fun to go through. The brake class was great ,but I had to go to the library to view it. It was worth the stop. Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
How long will you be in the Atlanta area? Macon is just 81 miles south on I-75, and if time allows we could do some railfanning here or there in Atlanta. Best chance for me is this weekend- next weekend I'm packing for the trip home to Texas. Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
Well Bob, unfortunatly I left Georgia at 2am. ATN called and I am needed on a Friday night run. I would have loved to have done some railfanning with you. Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
I understand about duty calling- hey, I'm 950 miles from home, and about to be twice that far...... besides, it's crappy weather today, so railfanning is off my list. Work safe & stay safe out there. Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
If you'd ever been through a hurricane you wouldn't be sayin' that George. mg: Copyright 2008 Jerry DeBene
