I've got a weird roster, it has a GP38, an FP40, a Hustler, and two old-time engines, one of which is the John Bull. The old-timers are going to be the focal point thus far. I have just gotten a few over the years and never settled on a final idea. I've also had an 0-6-0 and an 0-4-0 tank engine over the years, but they broke. That of course is my HO. I have an N scale F7 and an O scale Lionel 4-4-2, but those never get use.
Strictly NP but UP connects plus there are a lot of "other" locos that I intend to paint and meld into the system that NP never had. The NP locomotives consist of 0-8-0 (1), 0-6-0 (1), 4-6-2 (1), 4-8-2 (1), FT/F3/F7/F9 A/B (12), GP7 (4), RS3 (4), U25C (2), SW7 (1), VO1000 (2), AS616 (2) AS16 (3), RS1 (3), RS11 (3), SW1200 (1), Doodlebug (1), RDC (1), 44 ton (1), Alco S2 (1), Alco S4 (1) There are 3 UP locomotives: 2-8-0 (2) and 2-6-0 (1) The above locos came painted and lettered for their respective roads. Now there are a lot of "other" locos that I will paint and letter for NP that never ran on it. I thought this would be fun, especially seeing the FA's in the NP freight scheme and the PA's, Erie Built's and E7's in the NP passenger scheme. Those are: FM TrainMasters (4), FM H16-44 (5), FM 10-44 (2), RSD4/5 (2), C-Liner (3), Erie Built (2), Alco PA (5), E-7 (3), DL702 (2), GP20 (2), GP30 (1), FA/FB2 (6), RSD15 (2), SW Calf (1), 2-8-8-2 (1), 2-8-4 (1), 4-8-4 (1), 0-6-0T (1), 0-6-0 (1), EMC "Critter" (1), RSC2 (1) and two Athearn Hustlers. God only knows what I'll do with them... There is also a brass GN 4-6-2 that will get the prototypical GN paint scheme. The NP never had electric locomotives but I thought "why not?" So, 3 GE E33's will have a color scheme similar to the GE U25C's. The task now will be to string some overhead in the mountain region. In better than 45 years of modeling, there are approximately 105 locomotives.
Since my last post I added a Canadian Pacific Proto 2000 FA2 - in the maroon and grey scheme of course.
