That's the normal result of an image being over 2MB. Check your file sizes.

    Darren,
I'll be back at my apt on Tues. I'll check, but I never had to adjust anything with the wonderful, uncomplicated "OLD" Railimages.

    Any progress to a solution?

It's been a week since y'all said you were seeking a solution to the problem. Any progress? I've been holding off posting any more photos. :computer:

Thank You for your patience. The issue has now been referred back to the forum software development team. We have already tried 3 solutions they have provided to us and none of these worked.

The problem is further complicated by the fact that it is random in nature and is not experienced by everyone. As you are aware pictures you may experience problems with can be uploaded by Charlie or myself with apparent ease. The developers have advised us that they are working on this, however we have not received a firm confirmation as to a date we can expect a resolution. We are experiencing the same issue with the train store as well.

I know that is not the answer you needed to hear, it is as frustrating for you as for us at support. In the meantime should you wish to upload any pictures and experience problems send the problem pictures to me at server@trainboard.com and I will upload them as Charlie is away for a few days.

Could you tell me what internet browser you are using and your Operating System, just a thought that may help us.

I've had a similar problem recently.

Instead of going to the 'bulk upload' screen, I get a message which includes the word 'frisco' (I'll edit the whole message in if it appears again) and then get returned to the main upload page - without pictures, but with the title I inserted.

Thanks, any further input we receive from our members will certainly be helpful. I would ask that you also include the browser and version number you are using and the OS version, sometimes this can help as well.

Hopefully we will get this resolved in the coming days.

Some of the various accounts on the server are named after railroads and this one is names "frisco". It means nothing.

As Owen said, we are working on this.

    Browser and OS

Being somewhat of a computer troglodyte, I just use it, I don't pretend to understand it. But, since you asked, I am using Internet Explorer 7 and running Windows XP on a Dell Dimension 2400. :embarassed:

Well,I'm not going to beable to get to my place this week. I fell in therapy on Monday, got rushed to the hospital. Nothing broken, but sore & swollen. When we get home,Mom doesn't feel like cooking. We get chinesse take out. Now we both get food poisoning. We had pork fried rice & my step-dad had white rice. He was OK. Then to top things off,I got a flare up from my illness:cry: . I'll be in NYC next week. If I'm up to,maybe then I'll make it to my place.

I got the message again when trying to upload 5 photos

Unable to move file [/tmp/php3TqQyF] [/home/frisco/public_html/railimages/uploads/2703/IMG_1546.JPG]

Seems to be the same message that other users have been getting.

I seem to be having the same problems
Unable to move files [/home/frisco/public_html/railimages/uploads/5818/100_1198.jpg] Im using a dell computor, server is juno, Yahoo. I have used this before with no problems. Seems after I started creating blogs I have had this problem. I sure hope someone with more grey matter then I, can sort this out. John Warren.

We're working on it. It's turned into another log-term issue obviously. We've had them before and always fixed them and we will this one too.

    Problem Continues

    Hi Flash,

This is exactly what I still get, even with just one picture at a time, always downsized to screen size (1024 pixels wide). Tried refresh as per post # 10, still no go. It >is< intermittent, though - uploading is successul more or less every one out of ten or so attempts.
