hammerschmid.de/feldbahn How to Order? Hi Armand and All, I loved the video and would also Like to get some of this stuff. My question is how would one order from the USA? I was able to get the site translated but can't find how to order? Any help appreciated. Michael Hilliard Wilton, CT USA
Hi Michael, Chris was making direct order on phone with them, I think that shipping was not so expensive.
Spent most of my time building the warehouse. Jeff sent me a link of a nice looking warehouse and I am trying to get all the details from that picture. Here is a video with just the four walls and checking the path of the forklift. [ame="http://youtube.com/watch?v=d7vaM5aG0Hw"]YouTube - Animated forklift first test run with warehouse[/ame] Kim
Hi Kim, This becomes more and more live like, I can just imagine the time that take you the chip programming aside the making of the hardware. GREAT !
Thanks guys... Rob, I missed you folks too, it would have been very interesting with so many folks visiting. I wanted to test going live with the train cam before the NTS show, anyways I got some modeling work done this weekend. Kim
Armand, I think the most effect comes when it is painted/weathered and has lighting which is almost the last step. For the chip programming I am getting faster with each project. I purposely change the chip for each new hardware so I get to learn different ones. I kick myself when programming, but I still do it. It is the other structures that takes up most of my time. I have a picture of this building, one side only and the back is open to imagination, that is where I spent my free time. I have not posted the pictures of the back of the building but you will see that is where most of the work went. I spent half my Sunday just making railings and staircase for this building. Kim
SuuuWeeeet. Very cool !! Did you get one to emulate the lift yet? And don't forget the guy upstairs taking the lifted part away towards the back
Getting the fork lift to drop off the load and pick up reliably has turned out to be more challenging than I thought, so not much progress here. This is where I have stopped, it has gone to the back of list of things to do....
Bagger Animation Meanwhile started on the bagger animation Here are the broken up parts that the bagger has Removed the over sized chair and mounted it on a brass tube which will be the spinning axis
Hi Kim, This looks to become a new highlight from your awsome works. I dont understand how you arrive to cut the plexi so accurate ... Laser :lightning: ?
haha! the BAZ BoyZ don't model fair! We have 4 lasers in our group now! It's quickly becoming a necessary tool for every garage.
1/4" x 36 yards for $3.30 1/2" x 36 yards for $6.85 here: polyimide tape, solder tape, copper foil tape, electrical insulation tape, kapton tape Don't see how to order on that site. The 1/4" is $6.75 at the link below, but they have a shopping cart. This is where I got my 36 yard roll a few months ago. I think I might have used a yard of it... then again, probably not. I've only done about 10 locos since I got it. The Tape Depot - KAPTON Polyimide Electrical Grade
