Did you get it yet? David, Did you get the package today????? What do you think of the shell and the handrails????? Please let us know!!!!! Hobo Tim
hi tim, how's work? no, no shell today -- but i was out of town all day at the hospital 2nd day in a row -- different hospitals!). if it's there in the morning when i get in the office, i'll let you (and everyone else) know right away. what ever day it may arrive here, i won't see it until the morning after, since that is when the secretary retrieves it. i'm looking forward to seeing it all. i'll keep in touch. dave f.
it will be another month before tim is back and able to cast shells. i haven't done much with the test cast, as this is my busy season. i'll be in california all next week and upon my return hope to do some finishing and get a handle on the fit of etchings and parts. this will help tim with the final product. so we have some lag time here, and once it's past i think you will all be happy with the result. tim is a real craftsman. dave f.
Sowing the Seed! This is not official yet, but who is actually interested in getting an SD70ACe shell, in a kit form? Will be easy to assemble. Just look at your SD70 shells for assembly. Each kit would consist of 3 cast resin parts and 1 sheet of brass handrails. I currently have 7 cabs and 7 main bodies cast. I will start casting the walkways when I get 20 cabs and main bodies or the molds give out. I am hoping to get 20-25 castings of all parts. Now, back to the heart of this message. Who is INTERESTED? I am only taking names. No $$$ or Quantity Requests at this time, please!!! Thank you for your patience! Hobo Tim p.s. Photos to follow!!!
