just wait until you are as old as i am. you will find out that you forget things faster than you learn them .... ;-)
If Sandro is correct, then Scott, you have less than a year to learn as much as you can, cuz you'll forget it after that. And for the rest of us, I forgot what I just wrote, so could someone please read it back to me........
like i do write stuff down as you find it out and keep 10 papers whith words and stuff that you found out all clustered together under your keyboard that is what i do
Yup, I feel my mind slipping away as we speak.:rolleyes2: Geez! A few more years at this rate and I'll be back in Kindergarten! Ok, Someone needs to finish this one. Last clue, The name of the abandoned yard was Gateway yard.
Ahhh!!!! P&LE's Gateway yard, Southeast of Youngstown, Ohio. Google Maps The hump yard was a little east of this spot and for its time was a very modern computerized yard.
I already did, it's Pittsburgh and Lake Erie's Gateway yard. I drive by it every once in a while. Last I looked the big P&LE sign was still on the hump tower. Also in this corridor is the B&O main and a PRR line.
I missed the actual question. I thought it was going to be classic Stutzman obscurity, such as, "What popular song of the 1950s was written less than 1/2 a mile from this yard?" or something like that.
Ya know what's funny? I grew up not 20 miles from here, and passed it every time we visited my grandparents. I should have seen that coming!
