PROOF my trains were out running. Here are the parked cars of the crew out on a haul: Here's another shot of a Berkshire pilot, parked on a siding awaiting the next assignment.
Well, thanks to you guys I identified the right decal set and paint, so here's the 'amost finished' GE 70-tonner made from my resin kit. I did this one to illustrate the instructions. I'm waiting to get the production etch sheets in; but it looks like Kato won't have the chassis available for a bit. They are sold out just about everywhere, putting a real crimp in my action. I'll post updates as I find out more, it isn't a matter of 'if', just a question of 'when' from what I've found out.
Here are a couple of shots of some D&H RS3m's that I have finished and in the works. first up is a bicentennial unit that is almost done with the decals. This one has been finished for a while. Dan Pikulski www.DansResinCasting.com
Dan. GOOD JOB on the RS units. Having been raised on the old Atlantic and Danville line, I always wanted to do one of these. The A&D originally had about 5 RS-2's. One was wrecked and it went back to ALCO and was rebuilt as shown (Picture shows NF&D paint scheme)
Thanks for the compliments guys. If anyone is interested in how I built mine I did a "how I did it" on my web site. http://www.dansresincasting.com/RS3%20project.htm Dan Pikulski www.DansResinCasting.com
