I have a few "overflow" molds. One consists of six bundles of lumber in two sizes. While casting, whatever resin is left in the pot goes in the overflow molds. I have about 500 lumber bundles..... Painted about 100 Thursday night. Still need to add highlights, etc... Should get 3-4 loads out of it. This load has 38 castings.
Really nice loads. I like the random stacking in the lumber. I need to do this to two of mine. Espee light packages and everything. But, they are so light for switching! I do like the engines; maybe I should MU them with an F unit.
More layout photos. Awaiting assignment: Turning engines at the engine house. Converted Espee Overnight boxcar:
The King has taken up residence outside the Heartbreak Hotel on Lonely Street. His baby left him, along with his blue suede shoes and his hound dog.
Wolfgang, I really like you image. You did well with that one. Mr. Beasley, a credible and fitting addition to your scene. Nice work.
I have a new photobucket account, hot in my hands just this morning (on the left coast) and I see that it sizes images for modern computer screens. So, if I can beg your indulgence, I will post one of the three previous images from photobucket here and perhaps you can appreciate some differences and other features that you couldn't see in the smaller one on page 1.
Thanks Flash. They go together pretty well. Built three so far. They give enough weight to flat cars to compete with the rest of my equipment:tb-wink:
