Prototype images are okay. Heck, you just posted G scale. To us N scale and Z scale guys, that is almost prototype size anyway! :D

WNFF originated as models in a model forum; most guys still post models, though.

I have seen Smallbore's layout in person several times. It is HO and painstakingly done. The attention to detail and quality of his work is pretty much at the top of the pile.

The Roof top details reminded me of this 20 foot container I saw at the Hanson, MA commuter rail station:

Who makes the roof top vents?

Also thought foks would like other ideas for their containers.

I'm surprised we haven't seen a model railroad club building, complete with layout interior!

    I forgot to answer this.

I make them from beads you get at the craft stores. The bead is ribbed on the outside just like a turbo vent. You can get all types and sizes. I put a styrene rod through them to make the support part.

Thanks Flash - I think that structure constitutes a CEQ award if you like.

Yeah, once I figured that out I went hog wild with the tops of my buildings. I can count at least ten "bead vents" in this photo.
