I'm sorry that this is all I have of this excellent train at the North Raleigh Model RR Club NTrak layout. These beautiful Harriman style cars (?) were all lighted, too. I don't even know who made it. Selma Railroad days, Selma NC. 03 October 2008.

Doing some more work on my coaling station today. I made these embossed imprints of the roof panels in aluminum foil. They've been painted on both sides with rusty metal primer and will be cut up and glued into position on rotted looking rafters so it looks like a wind-torn rusted steel roof.

Mike, I wish my lawn looked that nice!

    LOVE the F units!

Tin foil embossing is one of my favorite techniques!

So do the folks go to Dunkin Donuts for coffee after visiting the cathedral??

Can I ask where you got the NS unit. It looks like one I sold on ebay a few years back. The air brakes on the front are vary Familiar. I used old Tyco switch wire that came in ribons and crimped the ends. Boy that looks Familiar :)

I did pick it up on ebay about a year ago. OC engineer JD super detailed it for me. My ebay name is different.

    More Grande T-2s

Here are some more shots of the Grande T-2s.

5404 & 5382 are blue box kits that have had quite a bit of modification

You can also see the difference between the out of the box pilot of 5371 & 5401 for the first and second run of athearn T-2s

Here's an update on the coaling station project. I've got some of the rafters in. After they've dried sufficiently they'll be painted a nice weathered gray.
