Over the river and through the woods, to granpa's house we go .......... My favorite two pictures . My three year old and five year old grandsons getting instructions on use of their throttles. They are running trains ( N scale ) and doing a good job. Of course, I set max possible speeds with the power pack. Smart move. Shaun, the 3 year old did not want to go home ever again.
My favorite from this week since I just finished the car. Consider it the "builder's photo". Nice photos on this thread folks!
Wow Hemi! It was your day! I didn't think they were running SD-45's anymore unless desperate for power. Glad you got a chance to get out and shoot. Wish I were there!
I can't remember if I ever posted this one but it is one of my favorites from my old layout. Quiet day at Hainesburg. A bad order LNE box car was dropped on the NYSW main below the viaduct earlier that day. The quiet of the August Jersey afternoon is broken by 2 DL&W E8's, a healthy cut of milk cars, some head end cars and a coach or two. The cows on the hillside are the only ones around to witness this soon to be gone site. Today the trains are long gone, track long since removed, cows long gone (perhaps dinner) and layout gone as well. By the way, love the new format for WFF. 4 pages of many individuals best work. Very inspiring. Scott Lupia
Here are a couple of my experiments with Black and White photography.... The first was edited to look like old newsprint...the second is regular old B&W....
Thanks Smallbore3p:tb-cool: I went to DD so much, they gave me a new shirt ! I love that station shot. Scott, that looks too good ! Much better on a layout than a wall unit. At least its still alive & well.
Thanks! It's produced by a fairly new company called Full Circle Models. It's a cardstock (carbody) and resin (underframe) model that is intended to be a throwback to the way things used to be made. Very nicely engineered. Check out http://fullcmodels.com/products.php
