Photo Contest Grand Opening spread the word 1. All challenges close at 12 noon Central Standard Time on March 30, and will be noted with a "Time's up!" post within the thread. 2. Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photograph rather than using a photograph that you have taken in the past. 3. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!! 4. Though not required, commenting on other peoples pictures is encouraged. 5. Only one image per participant so please choose the image carefully. 6. Any posts with images taken before the commencement of the challenge will not be included in the poll. 7. For photos to be eligible they must be taken between Friday March 27 and Monday March 30. 8. Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct. I look forward to seeing many contributors, remember this is to encourage all photographers to take a shot of the subject rather than post a photo taken in the past. I want to warn about prototype photography from restricted areas and private property. Welcome back lets see some Photos

This looks there was a free-for-all in the loco assignation department at CP on Friday. A GEVO and a GP9u waiting for clearance to hit the mainline westbound just east of the Dorval ViaRail station. Taken at 17h00 while standing legally on the sidewalk of the highway overpass. These two units were being followed by 143 cars of mixed freight. Dave. PS. One day I'll learn how to post larger pictures like everyone else!
On the tool bar straight above where you type, click on this icon and paste the URL of your image. To get the url, just upload your image into Railimages or Trainboard albums.
M.O.W. Flying The U.S. Flag Free For All..... After thinking about the contest topic nothing says free to me more than my country's flag. Although it's hard to make out in the smaller version in the picture below, their is an American flag flying from the piece of M.O.W. equipment that is parked in front of the U.P. truck. Ben
