Beautiful!...really captures the 'look' of these units today!...hard to imagine that it's 'just a working engine'!
    Kudos!

To Mike F., nicely done. Just like the units that pulled the long strings of freight cars out of Barstow. Huuhh..err...minus the BNSF patch job. Wow!

Bruce, Nice job on the ex-troop cars. Seems I have access to pictures of REA's fleet and these are a part of them. Turned into reefers, if I recall correctly. Just like you have them. Awesome!

Good to see that the blue and yellow war bonnets are still hanging around and working. Appreciated the picture.

Built a couple of NJ International plastic double track Cantilever bridges last evening...they'll go on the Ntrak Module I'm building to bring to the Lone Star Regional NMRA Convention in June...had to buy one 'silver' instead of two black one...they'll both get sprayed black after the signals are installed.
    Thanks for looking,
    ~Bruce

Here's a little more work on my TOFC yard. It's hard to color the dirt areas. I don't want it to be too uniform. Still a work in progress.

Some of you may have seen the "BNSF shoving car" that Gavin Robin and I inspected in Socorro NM last week. I got to thinking , I have a mine and hey , I have the correct caboose, and I have some SIMILAR graffiti decals.
I decided to make a "shoving car" for my layout to service my mine which has loading shoots too low to allow the passage of a locomotive.
With some styrene work tonight I am well on the way to it.

finished the most challenging aspect of these builds for the 'Arbonado" Ntrak module....
adding the signal heads to the cantilever signal bridges...
I had 8 PE frets of the BLMA signal heads, and I needed 8 signals (these aren't intended to be working signal heads)...I wanted to use these up as I have multiples of the beautiful Showcase Miniatures signal heads now...
These are a pain to fold and build...but I muddled through-a coat of black paint will help everything along after I add a few electrical cables...
    Thanks for looking,
    ~Bruce

Signal head. Wouldn't these lend themselves to manufacture using 3D printers?

    Those look great!

if you haven't seen the 'new' Showcase Miniatures signals...signal heads, masts, ladders, battery boxes, etc....you're in for a treat!...no need for 3D here...none better!...check them out1
the only reason I didn't use them here is that I had the BLMA versions on hand for awhile and now had a reason to use them...I have many of the Showcase Miniatures signals and want to use them on the home layout and modules.
