    Hey littlefoot... :)

I do that, too... multiple projects all going on at the same time. Right now it's an old European eloc, a set of diecast and wood mining cars, and an old Athern Hustler.

Here are first cars that I have finished in the New Year!

This is an IMRC 50' PS1 with Extended Coupler Pockets to replicate a NW Class B-16 car with an 8' Sliding Door and 7' Plug Door. Finished with Herald King Decals.

This is an Athearn PS5344 50' Boxcar with Extended Coupler Pockets. The Herald King decals are for the Mexican Built car so I re-arranged the decals to fit the PS car and added the PS Builders Plate and Cushion Service lettering from Herald King details set I had.

McKeen 40' PS1 lettered with Champ Decals in the as delivered paint scheme.

    Thanks for looking!

My newest project was this new DPM Modular Bank building; which I was quite pleased with.
They go together very easily. and have all of most desired details included in the kit.
Price was $35 @ my LHS.
I hope you enjoy the views as much as I did building this kit

This is a Front Range ACF 50' Boxcar that I used to represent a stretched 40' Boxcar of Lot 981-B of the P&LE. I substituted a 10' Youngstown Door from my scrapbox and added reinforcing around the door as noted on prototype photographs. On the roof they left the added roof panels in Galvanized Metal and painted the boxcar red panels green. Microscale Decals.

This is an Athearn 50' Outside Braced Boxcar used as a stand-in for the PRR X58 Boxcar that was used on the LV on two classes of their boxcars. Added Extended Coupler boxes for the end of car cushioning. Herald King Decals.

This is a Robbins Rails (Life Like Mold) 50' Boxcar that replicates the PC X72 Boxcar. The Robbins Rails car came with a Details West Underframe and good trucks rather than a stock Life Like Car. I removed the CR lettering from the car and added A line sill steps. Microscale Decals.

    Thanks for looking!

Great looking models all. You guys are an inspiration while I am trying to get my layout room finished. Atleast I have my workshop finished and can build cars, work on engines, etc.

    Here's some stuff in progress:

A C&O ribbed hopper. I found the picture @ the C&O Historical Society. It is VERY close to Tichy's ribbed hopper, so I used that model along w/ a mixture of various Champ decals. I knew collecting "scads" of Champ decals before they went out of business would come in handy.

Here's one of my favorite cars. Has absolutely NOTHING to do w/ the C&O, but I always thought the the "phosphate" hoppers were neat looking cars. I have about 7 of these kits and finally "cracked open" a couple. One is "finished" and the other about 90% complete. Just needs all the grabs, trucks, and couplers. The insane "jeweler" work is done.

    my workbench projects

I am working on the handrails of an Athearn Blue Box Dash 9 in SP.
Also the interior of an IHC Presidential Set sleeper car.

Also in the midst of re-organizing the workbench and train table.
It is a 6x9 layout based on the Grand Eastern trunk from Atlas.

More cars in progress. I'm building up about 14 or so models for various stages of painting. Some weathering and finished, some with a base coat ready for decaling. I usually set aside a morning or afternoon and try to paint a bunch of stuff at one time.

Anyway, here's two more cars on the bench that have the paint booth in their future:

Here are the cars I just finished and put together recently!

Eastern Car Works 2600 CF Airslide Hopper, lettered with Oddballs Decals. Why the CGW would use light yellow on silver is beyond me. Can hardly make out the lettering on the car, most were painted black on gray, that will be the next Airslide I do.

Tichy Train Group Composite Side Gondola, Lettering came with decal sheet in kit.

An old Mantua Gondola where I had to replace the underframe with one from an old Athearn Boxcar. The Die Cast frame had little or no detail and did not any method to attach a Kadee as the couplers were Talgo mounted back then. Car lettered with Oddballs Decals.

    Thanks for looking!

Espee did that for some covered hoppers, too. Very difficult to see.

Nice looking lot of cars from some oldies.

I just finished building some Military Series vehicles and thought I would share.
    These are by Roco Minitanks.
Reminds me of my days in the US military.

2- 2 SD75s, both getting their details and ditch lights applied.
3- 3 passengers cars, getting some minor repairs and couplers swapped out.
4- An approximately 50% done ~70ft skeleton log car.
5- Old AHM C-liner getting its pilot scuffed up and a "weld" added to look like repair work.
6- 3 gondolas loaded with spare parts
7- container being turned into a mobile generator.
