Slow progress(no progress at all :-( ) in the last weeks. Hopefully I find some time soon to work with the layout. The last "stop" in progress was done because I missed some Tortoise turnouts motors. Now I have bought 24 Tortoises, so there are no excuses now not to do some work.
Time for The Golden Spike Ceremony could have been tonight. Check out my latest development: http://www.platelayer.com/project-blog.aspx
It has taken long time, but some progress now. Yes, I look forward to see you and all other Z-heads in Altenbeken. Heine and myself are arriving on friday evening and will join the dinner on saturday if possible.
Yes, I have some footage and need to edit it before it can be released. Its really nice to run some trains without any interruption, and just sit on a chair and only watch and relax...........
A lot of activity finally documented The last months I have been busy with a lot of different parts on the layout, from installing Led String Lighting for the layout, making of the fascia front, finishing trackwork and all the track wiring, including Power Distribution Panel and the conventional block switches for part of the yards to be used with traditional DC Power. Since my main power will be DCC, only a few tracks have switches. Read more on my Project Blog. Check out the Power Districts: Overview of the layout Test of the Blue Led Strip Lighting
Some more work have been done the last weeks, mountains and bridge abutments. Check out my projectblog: http://www.platelayer.com/project-blog.aspx
Hi Svein. Do you have any close ups on how you connect the Tortoise swiitchmotors to your handbuilt switches. I'm getting to that part my self and would really like to learn from someone who already got it working. Cheers Mikael
