Flashing by Einsiedlerhof A long commuter train laden with passengers glides effortlessly down the electrified mainline at Einsiedlerhof, Germany. Next stop: Kaiserslautern Hbf (central station). The passengers are likely headed to Bad Durkheim, for a huge Wine Fest there this weekend.
"No Subject", we can handle that LOL. Here's mine. ADPX 636101 is spotted at the local Westfield unloader: This would make a nice model with not much space, other than a siding.
Approach Medium A westbound ethanol train heads for an "Approach Medium" block at MP 88 on the Clinton Sub. He would diverge from 1 to 2 track at Fairfax after dropping off a unit at Beverly Yard in Cedar Rapids, IA on September 12, 2010.
Parachute Local Here's my entry, taken on Sunday, just outside De Beque, Colo. The Parachute Local. Mike
U.P. Through The Weeds I had a great day railfanning with Mike (pastoolio). Here is a different view of the local that we were chasing. Ben
Very nice entries, all! Should be a tough vote. Ben, that pic looks like the tracks of the MIL about Feb 1980.... All overgrown... Pastoolio's is nice, too. I like the old school EMD power leading, too.
It is a cool optical illusion. I think that we should plan a Colorado / Utah railfan trip with Mike when you return to the U.S. Ben
Ben does have a 4 door truck.... Yes, excellent entries, looks like I'll be voting alot this time! Mike
Royal Gorge Scenic Railway (Final Running) Lisa and I have been on the road for the past 4 days which part of the trip was to get down to take one last ride on the Royal Gorge Scenic Railway. This small tourist line officially entered the Fallen Flags brotherhood as it ended operations on Sunday, September 12, 2010. (9News - Royal Gorge Scenic Railroad).
We could take you to our favorite spots, and you can do the same on the west side of the Divide. Would love to!
