I'll start it off. Here are some new photos I shot (and touched up with photoshop) of my n scale 2x4-foot SD&AE layout: 1) SP 4-6-0 #2353 makes a water stop at Jacumba, on the point of a double-headed freight drag with SD&AE 2-8-0 #104 behind her. 2) Perhaps my best yet: The freight drag drifting downgrade in the Jacumba deserts, heading east to El Centro as the sky darkens and shadows lengthen. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULDN"T CRAM STUFF TO FIT INTO THE INSIDE OF A CURVE!!! YOU"D MISS THIS WONDERFUL PHOTO OPPORTUNITY FOR WIDE OPEN SPACES THAT MAKE UP 99% OF REAL RAILROADS!!!!!!! And this is on a 2x4-foot layout. Imagine what you could do with more space! Now let's see yours!
Thank you! Spaghetti belongs on the dinner table, not on the layout! I never would have known this was a 2x4! Awesome!
Great work guys! Keep 'em coming! Here's one more of my SD&AE layout: SP 2353 surging through the desert over a newly-built trestle (I thought my layout really needed one, so I built it last week). This is also my first photo edited with smoke effects. I like how it turned out, so I think I'll do that more often now!:tb-biggrin::tb-biggrin:
SD&AE, can you please post some overall layout photos of your layout? Also, a track plan would be great. Thanks.
Just outstanding work gents.... Mark; that H16-44 is a beauty ! An H Line deserves a C Line.............. Nose job Geep pulls out some grain boxes Leased power............... Tuscan and grey make my day...................
Simply incredible work everyone, inspiring in the extreme. This is my best shot (and continues this "CP page!"): and for some reason I love these two as well despite some imperfections: Keep them coming everyone- great idea for a subject!! my best, Jan
