Lajos, Excellent! Keep up the great work. One day I know you'll be there and produce a GE 25T. If z-modellbau can produce such small operational locos I know you will. I have faith and patience. Yours, John
The GE 25 tonner is smaller than the KOF made by Z-Modellbau. It's doable, but the coupler is a major issue. In my books a switcher should be able to perform switching operations. To fit a fully functional MTL coupler is near impossible, so until the coupler issue resolved, no point to work on the rest.
A page within my old web site will be designated to the chassis. Later, when the number of products justifies, a completely new web site will handle the whole product line.
Using Bowser Bucklers may save some space because you don't need to use their box. Just a 00-90 screw to pivot and something for the side wiskers to press against.
Exciting times Lajos! I'm very happy you decided to develop this platform. Now looking forward to see your "ready to buy" posting. -James
We're almost there. Our crew is running behind, but closing in. Looks like later today the web page with brand new pictures, data and a shopping cart will be uploaded and ready to view / use. A note, the concept of chassis kits is on hold, the "Little Monster" at this time is available as ready to run only.
Finally, after a long battle, the chassis is available at http://www.zthek.com/ Thanks for your patience and support.
Congratulations! Hope your business will be a success. BTW: are you going to offer a 9' chassis too? I would have applications for those, but not 8'
Thanks guyZ, we're humbled by the overwhelming demand. We've received orders even before the announcement, then the first batch was sold out within an hour. We're working like a mule to complete the second, larger batch. We're sending out the chassis first came first served bases, some deliveries will be delayed about 3-5 days. We're good on supplies, so the only issue is assembly and finishing. Thanks again for the support and patience.
