Wow! Well, the thread is called Photo Fun, and a distinct theme seems to be building. So, I have fiddled with my all time favourite photo and this is my second contribution.
Okay, since we're having fun with old photos this week, I'll jump in with one that I created a couple months back. Circa 1938:
Black? Isn't that "tuxedo" or "dark green" or something like that? Those Southern RR fans always keep me straight. Very nice fleet.
Finished up some grab irons on a FVM GEVO. The biggest hold-up for me was figuring out how to get the darned cab off.:tb-hissyfit: I ditched the supplied grabs and used some BLMA 15in and 18in ones.
Espee 4108 I am finally getting around to detailing the GP 20 fleet. Espee GP20 4108 has been derated (non-turbocharged) and light packages, hoses, cab shades, and box filter added. Now I need to check these Cotton Belt versions. This GP20 pair operates as local switchers.
..."And Now Back To Our Regularly Scheduled Programming"... Athearn HO Big Boy Athearn N Challenger I seem to have an "Athearn" thing going this week
I must admit that the diesel is stunning. If you had cut off the trip pin I'd have sworn I was looking at a photograph of the real thing.
You have a very nice scene there, Wolfgang. Good weathering and a very nice scratchbuild with the church. Nicely situated, too.
Thank you, but I missed the power for the head light. And there's still a lot to do, more structures, switch stands, people, .... Let's wait a few month. Wolfgang
