    Hello everyone,

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then the images that have appeared in TrainBoard’s Modeling Photo Challenge are probably worth millions. Every entry represents hours of love and dedication for this awesome hobby and sharing the work is meaningful. The photographs provide artful examples of the great talent here, but also give others ideas and inspiration. That is why we are very pleased to be the sponsor of this event.

Our thanks to Mark for all the work he puts in to make the Photo Challenge interesting, useful and fun for the members. I look forward to working with Mark on this project and wish all of you the best of luck with your photo entries!

Motive power? Ya wan' motive power? I got motive power. How 'bout 4000 ponies? Fast flyin', snow swirlin', an' steam billowing out with the smoke in the cold crisp sunshine. It's a J Class Northern type motive-atin' the crew to keep alert. :shade:

Great shots so far. I'm hoping to be able to contribute a shot of my new 2-10-2 steamer, but I don't think it's going to arrive in time... :tb-sad:

Wow! Outstanding entries, so far. Looks like this is just going to be a contest filler.

Power hand off of K4s NO.1361 to E8A No. 5766, which, alas, in a few short years would become permanent. DJ.
