Show your winter pictures and how you made it. Here's mine. I've made it on an unfinished module, H0n3. Next step will be Woodland. And I've used snow from NOCH, that stuff is easy removable! The idea for the tunnel comes from DRGW, but there's not winter. Wolfgang
Looks marvellous, Wolfgang. I've never used the Noch snow. It sure looks the part. I'll see if I can dig one out, too. Mike
Wow, that moved forward quickly and drastically, Wolfgang....a whole season!! Very nice, indeed. Here are a couple from me. All I did was sprinkle W/S 'fine snow', and then vacuum it up afterwards. Smoke and steam effects courtesy of the clone brush in Sagelight.
Very convincing scenes, Crandell. Here's a couple of my Atlas Silver Series SD26 moving out onto the main. Woodland Scenics flake snow. Mike
I almost didn't post this because it's not even in the same league with the fantastic work already showcased on this thread. Great work! I did this snow scene diorama back in the early 1980's. Baking soda was used as snow, un-faced corrugated cardboard for the plowed field in the foreground, and sewing thread for the wires. It was supposed to resemble a typical midwest farm scene in the winter.
Great photos! Here are my contributions. Techniques are basically Mike Danneman's i.e. marble dust and sifted hydrocal liberally touched up with dillute gesso as needed. md
Midwest winter scene Bruce, from my vantage point, YOU NAILED IT. Very good job. All the pics are outragous. Thanks for sharing.:thumbs_up::thumbs_up::thumbs_up:
I'm all out of adjectives to praise your photos with, so I'll just give you this: :thumbs_up:
