Hello everyone. This model is perhaps the one I like almost everyone I've ever done before. Inspired by a model named Chuck Dohan Red Oak Service Station. I tried to keep the basic idea of the model of Chuck, but giving it my personal character. Hope you like it. Obviously, the model of Chuck is 1000 times better than mine. Is not finished yet. Regards, Xavier
Wow. If Chucks is 1000 times better, it must have animated, furry G scale mice running around in the corners. Nice job on that.
Hi ! This is an update of this project. Just a diorama base, a few junk and a pickup with the corporate colors. Hope you like it. Regards,
Very nice structure. I have seen structures like this in rural Virginia and on the opposite end in rural Montana so it does bring back a few memories. What are you going to do about the period gas pumps? If you don't already have some or a source for them PM me since I believe I have a set of those in a parts box that I can spare.
Xavier, nice work! I think sometimes even us N scalers can learn a lot about the subtleties from our large scale friends.... Best, Otto K.
Is this n-scale? Looking at the details on the vehicles, I am astonished it could be done in n-scale.
I do not understand why this thread has come here. I was start this post in [h=2]G Scale and Larger[/h] Gauge #1 Scale (and larger), because this is in Gauge One (1:32) Apologize for any inconvenience. Regards,
Xavier- In late June of 2011, our site experienced a major glitch. We still do not know how the bug came about, but we did not write the software. When this hit us, three quarters of a million posts were scattered everywhere across TrainBoard, with a big number in a narrow gauge prototype forum. In the course of two and a half years digging these out, and relocating them again, (much of which work I did), some have simply accidently been misplaced. It was a monumental, stresser task. Since then, I have slowly been going back through every forum, trying to even better locate as many posts as possible. I have months of such work remaining, and am doing the best I can. Your post ended up in N Scale somehow, during the original recovery process. I have not as yet started checking the N Scale Forum for threads which do not belong here. Once I do begin, it will require many weeks of loooong hours. I do not look forward to the task. I will move this to G and Larger.
Hello Boxcab550, Wow what a huge work !!! I don't know this particular. I did not want to make any criticism about it. Just did not know what had happened to the post. We never realize the work that is done in a forum. I really appreciate that you dedicate your time to maintain the site. Thanks you very much, Regards
