Thanks for posting John. Eddie, they are the IR sensors for the crossing signals. They only show in photo images.
Very well done! Nice Night effect.. I know this is still a work in progress----It's nice to see this module in different stages of completion- How bout posting this on ZCS. Fred
I was thinking block signals, but two pairs of them? Thanks, Ed for clarifying. Very nicely done. How did you do the road lines? They're sharp and straight.
So I guess I'll be seeing this in person in about a month. Very much looking forward to it! Nice work, Ed.
Well done. It looks as it the James River Branch has been a strong influence! Your lighting and crisp buildings look fantastic! Any close ups?
The IR system is from Rail Logic. The first sensor trips the crossbucks, if for some reason the train does not reach the second set in 10 secs. it will turn them off. The lines on the road are made with 1/32 pin striping tape. Bryan, Yep, this will made its first appearance in about a month. I have more images, some close-ups. Will post them soon. Also will post a few of the in progress pics.
That is awesome! Is that 0.03" polystyrene you used for the roads, etc? Also, great job on the building kits. I hope I can get mine to look half as good.
Its been a while since i have updated this thread. Here are a few pictures from the show in attended in Dec. The module occupied a 8 x 10 area.
Then this past weekend, got a wild hair and set the modules up to run and take a few pictures. Here are a few from last weekend, with natural daylight.
