I just saw the November new releases from MTL, MTK SD40-2. Great! Does that mean that they have been able to startup the loco production again. If so that is good news. Mikael
Until that release, you can visit the L.G.Thek Brasswork web site, look at the pictures, read the story of the world's most powerful and best running small switcher locomotive model, the SW-00. It changes the way you think about small in Z-scale. That little mechanism is the first small, real switcher locomotive in the history of Z-scale, that capable to handle realistic switching operations.
Nice hijack of the thread Lajos! ) But your little crawler is very cool. Excited to get a shell fabricated for it. Joe MTL
Second the NP! I have had 30 Z Scale NP Passenger cars in Lowey Green for several years, and no F units to pull them!
Robert.... you've never sent me PICS? I am HURT! Oh, and the move went smoothly into the new place...... According to the wifey I get 13'7" x ~3' for the N, and whatever coffee table layout I want to build for the Z stuff. I'm a VERY happy/lucky man! COMMENCE BUILDING! I'm gonna need a layout to showcase all the NP F units Micro Trains is bound to make us..... PS check yo' mail.
Joe, New equipment, road names, paint schemes and road numbers are all nice, but right now I'll be happy when I see a simple statement like "production for all locomotives has resumed and product is shipping..." Mark
