Anthony is still recovering from his surgery. Nothing from Norm yet.

Installation looks very simple - just make sure the motor tabs don't short. No springs to go "poof- gone".

Which board will work on a Marklin F7 diesel?

DZ123MK0 - Board Replacement Decoder for Marklin Mini Club 88455 and others.

DZ123MK1 - Board Replacement Decoder for Marklin Z 88584 and others.

Will either of the above 2 boards work on a Marklin F7 Diesel? For example the Marklin 8860?

I don't know if it fits a F7, but there are available dropindecoders for F7 and other Miniclub engines for the German company, Velmo, english text: http://velmo.de/html/english.html
I have bought some for my F7, but have not had time to test it yet.

    Hi,
We have not decided when to release the undecorated version. We did include it in our recent production run. After the Milwaukee units will be released, look for either the CP or SOO.

No, no, no, You have the release schedule all wrong.

First comes Milwaukee, then undec and then CP or SOO Or maybe even a double whammy and release the undec with another road name at the same time.

    What would that hurt?

Stripping a good loco would be a waste of time and energy and cause only delay )

Just a tid bit to chew on Hans.

For some reason all manufacturers who have offered an undec seem to do so after I have purchased a dozen of their ugly paintschemes to strip and repaint.

As soon as I post photos of my repaint, they all seem to release that paintscheme. :D

Last May in Denver, I've asked Eric from AZL, "When is going to be release the CN version of the GP38?" He told me "in about two months"
So that's, May, June, July, August, September.....Milwaukee maybe October, CP maybe Nov? SOO Dec?, so hopefully CN in February ?
2 months in reality is around 10 months.....yep, that about right.

I don't recall an "Eric" from AZL, but there is one at MTL. Perhaps you got a commitment from someone who doesn't actually make the product?

In a twisted thought process I have to agree! We need a month or so to between to recover each of these Roads. Especially since they are all tied together; MILW units became SOO Bandits and then CP gained full control of the Soo Line so all are found roaming the same rails together.

Ah well when it rains it pours....

Twisted? well maybe you're right, but it sure fits my bill. I do not want to strip a perfectly good loco so as to repaint. Robert seems to feel the same way.

I wonder what the reason is for not releasing undecs sooner? Are manufacturers afraid they will lose sales if we repaint into something that might later on be released? Either way, a loco is sold and that seems to me that a sale is a sale. Am I mistaken?
