These guys have a lot of time on their hands... Great barn, though the spacecraft looks like a cockroach. But who am I, my structures are known for their "invisibility."

What a magnificent barn model. I thought maybe it was going to be more like the scene of one of the Martian war machines landing and skidding to a halt halfway through the farm house in the 1953 War of the Worlds...

Fun idea for a different kind of scene.

Pretty cool the way he did that.

You have to admit there was a fair amount of thought and effort put in that.*L*

I thought the exact same thing.

Such craftsmanship and detail crushed - and for what? I'd be a little more impressed if the spaceship didn't look like it was inspired from a cheap cartoon.

I must be getting old and crotchety.

I know, if I were him, I would have also built a second one, unscathed!

I guess the real question is:
Did he really hand build that barn from scale lumber
    OR
Did he pick it and that spaceship up at a yard sale for .50 each ? !!

No self respecting n scale modeler would do what he did to that barn. JMO !!

I would have thought an alien race with the technology to travel light years across space would have the ability not to land on anything.

The spaceship is obviously unfinished which is why it doesn't look as good as the barn, I'd like to see the finished scene.

Cetainly a lot of trouble to go through to get an alien insectiod interstellar battle cruiser display stand. And can you really see the interior of the barn? And again why?? Now I can see making a wreck out of a car that was totally messed up beyond repair in the first place and putting it in a ravine or partially in the river but this? Arrgh!!

I think this guy is great. You all are just not appreciating his motivation to make an authentic model of a crushed barn, which as he explained was what he set out to do in the first place. Either that, or you're all just jealous. ;-)

This was my same first thought... But perhaps navigating a craft which looks like a giant cockroach is not the easiest task....

My Guess is those Aliens don't have to fill out a bunch of paper work when they wreck their ship or they would be more carefull about were they land.

Nice barn, I even liked it after he crashed it, just place it on the layout and toss that ship in the bin....

Being an interstellar dreamer, I loved this video! Finally got to watch it tonite, my brother told me to look at it last week. Would enjoy seeing something like this on a layout, it'd be neat for a background scene with an interstellar parking cop alongside with sirens going! Got to be a tcket for a bad parking job!! Fun! Which is what this hobby is all about!!!
