You can still have a BL-2 if you disguise it as an F3, but only without an extended fuel tank. One of those little technical loopholes that you can run a locomotive through... ;)

This means we're all going to have to go underground with our railroads...wait a minute...most of us are already underground, in our basements...never mind, all is well.

Another reason we need to fight for our right to own Tunnel Motors!

Nobody needs a DCC system capable of addressing 9999 locomotives.

I am concerned about people buying Challengers and Big Boys using the Train Show Loophole.

On the DCC front I am okay. The Digitrax system only goes up through address 9983.

After seeing the size of collections in the 'how many cars do you own' topic, there might actually be a few who really do need that many addresses.

Nobody's gonna come and take away my trains! I'll sit on the front porch waitin' for'em, engineer's cap on my head and beat'em off with my reverse lever if I have to!

This side of the pond, there used to be brake van specials, with any number of these things carrying enthusiasts: translation into US English, there used to be caboose specials, and they carried railfans.

Extended fuel tanks, bay window caboose, mars lights etc are all considered evil features and from what I understand you will be limited to one evil feature. What I'm trying to figure out is that is per train or per layout

Did anyone else see the railroad based movie, "Atlas Shrugged"? The book was written in 1957 by Ayn Rand; is about 3,000 pages long and very 'forward looking'. The book has been broken down into 3 parts for movie(s). There was a first segment and then the last later last year. Rent it or something, but don't miss it!

After Atlas shrugged, we got Kato holding the Green lantern out by the Roundhouse....... Uh-Oh! Making fun of something so serious is bound to be illegal in the new law!!

    This is great fun!!

    Is that still legal?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Had them too, and in the olden days, crews often travelled with a caboose, so if they ended up pn the wrong side of nowhere, their caboose did too. i've seen triplehinders (as opposed to a triple header, of three engines) and more moving crews and cabeece from one divivisoon to another where they expected or had a temporary mad rush of traffic.
