What were your methods for painting the bricks, the mortor, and the weathering?

Just curious- How much time elapsed between the start and finished product?

    Well, its not finished yet.

Night one was basic wall assembly.

Night two was rattle can painting.

Night three was window attachment & brush weathering. I still have much to finish.

Mind you, it was just a couple hours each night.

Its just rattle can painting with a lighter brown & rust colored paint lightly applied via brush. No great techniques here. It really does not look all that great up close, but from the aisles...

    See?

Well, many old buildings in reality do not look great. After years of weather, reduced maintenance, etc. It's all a part, I believe, of the old theory about there being a prototype for everything.
