Ah ha! Either there's a lot of model railroaders in Cape Girardeau, or I've talked to you in the Diner before. I had to ask, cause she was in Madison, IN this past week. Glad to see those old girls legal on the water again.
I just built this old gas pump kit (Evergreen) as a quick change of pace and thought I would post this fun scene at the general store in Greenbrier. The old delivery wagon seen in the background is probably making one of it's very last deliveries. The automobile, without a doubt, is starting to take over.
Thanks Tom. It's a pre painted Woodland Scenices figure. I need to add a thin wash of black to tone it down a bit.
Painters busy on the locomotive depot. This scene was on my previous layout in England. The depot is installed on the new layout here in Slovenia - but I cannot find the painters!!!!! Aargh! Sure I have seen them during unpacking here, but if they are not found I must try to obtain another set, but not sure if they were Preiser or another make.
Maybe they finished the painting and have gone on to another job? :teeth: do you still have the scaffolding?
No they haven't, the wall is just the same as in the picture. :-/ Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using tapatalk 4 beta
Thanks Mike, I just hope I can find the figures or get some more so they can carry on Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using tapatalk 4 beta
Nuthin' random about this photo. It's staged on the only 3 foot section of my layout that is semi-done. Only another 90-100 feet to go.
Very nice - and although I assume that is a western scene, it put me immediately to mind of one of the switchbacks at Cass. Great scenery work. 90 more feet you say?
