Wow guys, either somebody changed those pictures or ya'll are really over reacting. By the hands and skin it's an older woman and the dress is nice but a very far cry from lingerie. She's spent a lot of time on her nails.. Frankly it reminds of someone's Grandma all dressed up to help hold the models. I find nothing "sexual" about it, you see worse in PG movies and FAR worse in person just wandering about! Could be he had no place to pose the models and grandma/wife wanted to help out? Actualy, as far as photos of the item up for auction goes, they are above average! The items are centered, in focus and you can clearly see the item, plus there are multiple photos taken from different angles. You can clearly see what you are bidding on. That beats a single blurry unfocused shot any day. If he's relying on sex appeal.. he's doing a bad job of it.
The photos have been changed. Originally she was scantily clad, negligee, clearly suggestively posed.
I concur- the previously-mentioned Facebook RR lists had links to items the, er, "model" was holding. Apparently they didn't like the negative comments, so now what you see is some woman with red fingernails holding the items. Much more tasteful. All I can say from the other photos- what was seen, cannot be unseen. And I'm no prude- hey, I have 4 children..... Just a couple of real wackjobs acting butthurt over the backlash from their bad choices. They want out of model railroading? I say good riddance.
At first I was like, sexy models and being held by pretty women? Yes, please! But then that comment makes me thinks that perhaps it is for the best I missed it... It's hard to build models with bleach in your eyes.
Look at your own risk!...You've been warned!... Stop now!...Do not click!... http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Walthers-TWO-2-Western-Pacific-WP-bay-window-cabooses-like-new-/251442795095
Yep - spot on. What I saw was a far cry from "paisley". So I wasn't hallucinating. They must have had their ears burning... Bill, that second one leaves no doubt - red panties, fishnet stockings, and one heck of a backdrop for model trains. And this time I saved the photo to my computer just in case someone conspires to make me look paranoid... now where is my tinfoil hat, that dang government satellite is going overhead again and I don't want them reading my brain.
So you guys don't like red? Not my favorite color either. On the other hand I'm not sure the 'red' model is all that 'sexy.' Actually, I found myself concentrating more on the held cabooses than the 'cabooses.' hboy:
Trying to keep my mind on distantly railroad-related topics, the female model in the background doesn't seem to resemble present-day style or taste in "girly" shots. Of course, I spend a lot of time researching transition period scenes, and for someone who goes back even further, steam era or turn of the century, maybe the photographer's model is supposed to make a miniaturist think of a steam-era (I'll try to think of an optimistic term) "dance-hall girl."
She's got more dents than my first car for sure. Just an exhibitionist trying to gain a wider audience. At least its not a guy.
