Designing Needs Good Eyes! Thought we disappeared? Wait until you see the kit announcements below. Just when we had the new studio ready and the new laser up and running we hit a wall. Our primary Design Engineer/Laser Technician has had a tough time focusing on close up work. A visit to the ophthalmologist has revealed not one, but two cortical cataracts. Bummer, but the good news is the first eye will be surgically repaired April 10th followed shortly by the second surgery. In the meantime, we've been getting ready. There are bound to be items below that interest you. Feel free to visit our website but these are not up there yet. We'll release what we can, as soon as we can and will let you know when they are for sale. If you are also an N scaler there are some impressive kits to be released as well. Prices on the kits have yet to be determined.
Yeow ! I saw the e-mail this morning and, not only are you two getting really creative but you appear (Ooooo, a pun) to be holding out on us ??? Can't wait for the Z versions and Mickie (and Niles Depot guys) will make use of the N scale versions.
Jeff, We've not been holding out at all. Adding 700+ sq ft to our home, plus many other current projects around the home has taken a toll on us both physically and mentally. Let's just say the creative juices have never stopped flowing, but the energy level and time constraints have certainly made us appear invisible. We have a number of good ideas both N and Z floating around and just need time and energy to make these appear. If patience is a virtue, then I doubt you virtuous guys will be disappointed. ) Hang in there with us.
Ha Jeff! I wasn't holding out, everything was backing up! I thought that a new studio plus the newer bigger laser would be all it took for me to start throwing kits out there like crazy. But all the while my eyes were getting worse and worse but I didn't know how really bad they were until yesterday. So, after the surgery LOOK OUT! There are many more items on the drawing board for both N and Z. And maybe some for that Hugely Oversized scale too, lol!
Joe, I kinda knew you'd think so. I wish I had more of it to show you because I really am digging that thing. Nice part is that it isn't a huge creamery, more of a reasonable sized one even with a dock for box cars and truck levels.
