    Designing Needs Good Eyes!

Thought we disappeared? Wait until you see the kit announcements below.

Just when we had the new studio ready and the new laser up and running we hit a wall. Our primary Design Engineer/Laser Technician has had a tough time focusing on close up work. A visit to the ophthalmologist has revealed not one, but two cortical cataracts. Bummer, but the good news is the first eye will be surgically repaired April 10th followed shortly by the second surgery.

In the meantime, we've been getting ready.

There are bound to be items below that interest you. Feel free to visit our website but these are not up there yet. We'll release what we can, as soon as we can and will let you know when they are for sale.

Prices on the kits have yet to be determined.

Well, if it makes you feel any better I just had one operated on myself and my close-up vision is better than it has been in years. Shouldn't have waited as long as I did. On a 10-point scale, if sticking your hand in a snowblower is a 9.5, falling off a cliff with 17 stitches is an 8, a botched root canal is about a 6, then this rates about a 3.0 in terms of degree of difficulty.

Randgust, can I assume you have experienced all of those traumatic events? If so, why?

I sure hope that info is not from personal experience. Of course, my scale is full of interesting and unique episodes as well. But seriously, thanks for the cool stuff. Looks great. I'm gonna have to find room on the layout for the inn i see. It's a good problem to have though.

The bridge is designed so that the modeler can easily connect two or more together, for length, without a noticeable seam. This will likely be the first of the N kits available.
