True, but now you have a new baby in the house to take up extra time. ;)

A few pics of a little more test running, before the RSC2 is taken out of service for repainting to AWRR black and yellow.

The C425 waits for the incoming RSC2 to clear the track before departing.

Finally took a break from the layout to fit decoders in a couple more locomotives and disassemble them ready for painting. So now I have only one locomotive to run until I get them finished!

Ready for paint are an RSC2, RSD5, RS3 and a caboose. 3 more cabooses to do, but I want to improve/rebuild them first (new end handrails, new grabs, etc.) Some other freightcars need work or kitbuilding. These can follow on later.

With AWRR locomotives and caboose, it will really take on the intended identity. :)

Will there be a new AW paint scheme? Or one we've seen previously?

Basically same as Matt's Montana Central, as both railroads are members of the Curtis Railroad Corporation family ;)

Really must get a CRC logo designed....

    Do I detect a bit of McClelland/King/Koester influence? :)

Great work Alan, clean, crisp. I have always liked the inverted yellow stripes.

Wonderful! How are you controlling your turnouts?

Early pic of the slide switches I use to control turnouts. They are two way and are also used to switch current to the frog. Operating rod is mostly set into the surface of the board and covered before ground cover or ballast is glued down.

Yes, they are at edge of board and hidden in buildings with just enough finger room to operate them.
