Austin NTrak from a few years ago. They have a very nice signal system.

BTW, these photos were taken July 6, 2006. The Pan Am boxcars by Joe Cox are from a decal set. IIRC, the ATSF wide cab GP60 was a kitbash. Joe had some really nice models. His boxcars all have coupler cut levers.

Oops! This is a Russell Straw signal!

    Austin NTrak again.

I'm curious - what was the barrel yard? Has a unique kinda look to it.

It was product storage for the Visco Chemical Company (now part of Nalco). They sold gas and oil field production chemicals and lubricants, drilling mud and things related to that. You can see the prototype in the upper right corner of this image. If you look real close you can even see the semaphore signals modeled in the image Flash posted. :)

Painted lettered and weathered this Accurail boxcar with a friend's road name. Also finished planting the trees on the embankment behind the boxcar.

Nice work on both the trees and the car, maybe a few leaves and an old bird nest to top it off !

That's an SD70/5. Judging by the all yellow handrails, it's an Athearn. I do remember the GP60 you're referring too. Great modeling before the FVM model came out!
