The Santa Fe Ranger heads west out of Houston through Richmond, Texas on the SP Sunset Route. At Rosenberg it will switch over to home rails at Tower 17 for the rest of its trip to Chicago. After the Texas Chief service was inaugurated the Ranger became a secondary train.

Here are some hard working Utah Railway SD40s, rebuilt by Boise Locomotive works. It takes a LOT of horse power to get the coal from Eastern Utah to Delta's IPP power plant. UTAH 9009.jpg UTAH 9005 9011.jpg UTAH 9009.jpg UTAH 9005 9011.jpg

Ah. 1958 Edsel. When I was in high school, the garage where I worked had a customer who owned one. It spent most of it's time parked in the back area inside of the shop, waiting to get patched up again.

I had a friend that owned a black and white Edsel Citation 2 door hardtop. Such a cool car, especially at night watching the Teletouch glow!

I spent part of my afternoon adding the many small detail parts included with my Tomix JR EF66. I have realized that I am way out of practice! Fortunately, I only lost one small part. 003.JPG

That's a nice paint scheme. Their blue and gold mesh well.
